The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is nearly here. Samsung has scheduled an August 2nd event for the device’s unveiling, and while they obviously aren’t giving away any details before then, there’s plenty of activity in the rumor mill to paint an accurate picture.
The latest from that mill is word of the device’s availability. Rumor has it Samsung will make the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 available the very same day they announce it. This isn’t too far outside the realm of possibility as Samsung has launched devices less than a week from announcement in the past.
It’s also Samsung’s biggest chance to capture the attention ahead of the Rio Olympic Games, though considering they’re one of the most major sponsors of the event we imagine they wouldn’t have had much trouble with that regardless.
It’s said Samsung will have units ready to go the day they announce the phone, and with at least 7 different Galaxy Note 7 models receiving certification at the FCC today it seems likely that there won’t be a long delay between hearing about the phone and getting a chance to play with it yourself.
