Since we’ve seen quite a few variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 show up on benchmark sites lately, it was inevitable that the Verizon-bound variant of the smartphone would also make an appearance. Verizon customers holding hoping they will be getting the Snapdragon 821 variant with 6GB of RAM will be disappointed to hear that the SM-N930V version of the phone, now listed on GeekBench, only comes with a Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM.
The good news is that devices that show up on benchmark sites before a phone’s official unveiling don’t always accurately represent what specifications the final device will be equipped with. We’ve seen so many variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 pop up lately that it’s impossible to know if they are all real of it someone it playing an elaborate joke on all of us.
Would you still buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is it was powered by a Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM?
