24 likes – The Vivo X7 has opened up its pre-registration period to much fanfare with over 1 million registration. Although this doesn’t account for the number of devices pre-ordered, the fact that over 1 million people are interested in this $375 mid-range device.

#9 – Google Summer Squad

24 likes – Google has launched a summer camp for kids in the U.K. dubbed “Summer Squad”. Participants will learn how to code through various lessons and will collect badges along the way. Additionally, Google is providing this program free of charge.

#8 – Huawei declines

24 likes – Huawei may be growing in other parts of the world, but it is not immune to rough sales numbers in Asia. The company is currently competing against the likes of Vivo, Oppo and ASUS.

#7 – Lenovo bendable smartphones

26 likes – After showcasing its flexible smartphone prototype at Lenovo Tech World, the company stated that it expects more of these devices to arrive within the next five years.

#6 – Samsung S Health update

26 likes – Samsung has pushed a large update to its S Health application, which encourages you to challenge your friends. The update includes a new way to track your workouts, a leadership board to compete against friends and family, and general improvements.

#5 – Google Now on Tap translations

28 likes – Google Now on Tap has received an update that will automatically translate foreign text by holding the home button and displaying it on your screen. The service also will scan QR and bar codes making it easy to pull up the hidden information.

#4 – Google Play Family Library

28 likes – At Google I/O 2016, Google announced a way for one user account to share applications and media content. Google Play Family Library officially arrived and is available for anyone to take advantage of.

#3 – Google Android Wear smartwatches

29 likes – According to a report, Google is working on 2 new Android Wear smartwatches that will integrate Google Assistant. The two smartwatches would be some of the first devices with Assistant compatibility and will come in two different sizes.

#2 – Hummingbad Malware

36 likes – We aren’t immune to malware on Android, even with advances in security. The latest malware to hit the Play Store has affected over 85 million Android devices around the world, and is accruing $4 million in ad revenue per year for the company behind it.

#1 – 2016 Nexus phones

39 likes – Android Police was able to get its hands on some mockups of what will supposedly be the next two Nexus devices. Both devices will feature the same design, seemingly taking a cue from Apple with its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
