Another day, another 2 LG X phones. The company has a whole family of these mid-rangers which aim to excel in very specific areas, so we’re curious to know what the latest phones — the LG X5 and the LG X Skin — will bring to the table.
For the former, the device’s number is celebrating its size. It’s a 5.5-inch 720p device that has a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset, 2GB of RAM and a 13MP camera. Meanwhile, the LG X Skin is named so because it’s as thin as… skin? Maybe. It certainly is the thinnest and lightest X phone of the lot with a girth of 6.9mm and 122g of weight, but also has a 5-inch display 1.3GHz quad-core chipset, an 8MP camera and 1.5GB of RAM.
Despite the X Skin being seemingly weaker on paper, it has a pricier cost of $200 opposed to the X5’s $180. Perhaps style is more important than substance over in South Korea where this thing will be sold. Both devices will be available in the country next week.
