Set your reminders even faster with the latest Google Now update

One of the niftiest voice commands within Google Now is the ability to quickly set reminders. But the problem with trying to use Google Now to set reminders is that it still requires that you confirm the reminder before it would save. A new server-side update is changing this functionality and promises to make for an easier experience.

With the new update, when you ask Google Now to “remind me take out the trash tomorrow morning”, the reminder will automatically be saved. You will no longer need to confirm the reminder, just ask Google Now to set the reminder and you’ll be done.

As you can see in the screenshots above, you will be able to edit or delete the reminder after the fact, but you won’t need to do anything else. Additionally, there is now an option view all of your reminders, making it easy to get an overview of what you need to do.

This update seems to be a server side switch, as some of us here have yet to receive this faster method of saving reminders. In the mean time, make sure that you have the latest version of the Google app on your device so that you can take advantage of this feature once it rolls out to everyone.
