Deal: Buy one smartphone, get one free from AT&T until June 30th

AT&T has been running a “Dad’s and Grads” promotion for sometime which nets subscribers a free phone with the purchase of a device. The deal has been extended until June 30th, leaving just one week to buy one popular smartphone and get one absolutely free.

In order to be eligible for the promo, you’ll need to follow the following steps:

  1. Purchase both phones on AT&T Next, our most popular consumer device plan (or business customers can also purchase on Equipment Installment Plans (EIP):
    • The first phone can be purchased on any of our AT&T Next options.
    • The second phone needs to be purchased on a 30-month AT&T Next agreement or EIP 24.
  2. Must add a new line
  3. Add both phones to a qualified plan, like the AT&T Unlimited Plan or a Mobile Share Value plan, for as low as $70 a month for 2 phones when added to Mobile Share Value.

Once completed, you will begin seeing bill credits accrue on your bills, up to $650. This will be spread across 30 bills, so instead of paying a monthly device cost, you’ll receive a bill credit that takes the place of the device.

There’s also one more catch that potential buyers should take note of: “BOGO must consist of devices from same manufacturer.” So you can’t mix and match between LG and Samsung, but you can get two Samsung, LG, or HTC devices and only actually pay for one.
