The Motorola Moto Z was just announced, but Lenovo and Google are already sharing some launch goodies. Recently, a leaked Google Photos APK showed that Nexus owners will soon be able to back up movies and photos at the original quality for free. It looks like the Moto Z will also be a beneficiary of this new feature.
The product pages for the Moto Z and Motorola Moto Z Force are showing a promotion that will give users free Google Photos storage for two years. This is the same full-size original quality photos and videos that you take with your phone. In order to get this promotion, you’ll have to buy a Moto Z before March 31, 2017. Plenty of time.
The only problem with this promotion is you have to buy a Moto Z, which might not be easy for some people. Verizon has exclusivity on the Moto Z for a few months before the unlocked version, and the Moto Z Force will only be available on Verizon. Hopefully, you have Verizon or the patience to wait. Anyone planning on picking up a Moto Z?
