Remember when video replies on YouTube were all the rage? Well, it wasn’t, but that doesn’t mean we don’t need the feature elsewhere. Facebook is starting to roll out the ability to upload videos into a comment. This applies to posts made by both pages and people, as well as posts within groups and events.
To access it, all you’ll need to do is click the camera icon next to the text entry field where you would write a normal comment. The feature was apparently created as part of a Facebook Hackathon event, and the engineer who was responsible for its inception released it to celebrate his 7th anniversary with the company.
The feature is available on both web and mobile apps, so be on the lookout for it the next time you need to leave a unique comment on one of your friend’s posts!
