A new phone from the depths of Chinese social networks has surfaced. The device you’re seeing above is clearly tagged “Lenovo,” and above that tag is clearly the word “Tango.”
The device — which is said to have a massive 6.4-inch display — is shown here with a mesmerizing camera array on the rear. There’s a lesser module sitting at the very top, but beneath that is a lens element the size of a quarter, which is likely necessary to facilitate the advanced 3D mapping capabilities that a Project Tango device is supposed to have.
Everything else about the phone looks quite in-line with what we’re used to this day and age. There’s a fingerprint sensor fixated on the center of the rear. It’s embedded within a nice metal unibody finish. The front gives us that big display, the front facing camera sensor, and capacitive buttons.
We’re expecting to see the Project Tango phone — alongside some premium new Moto options — at Lenovo’s Tech World event tomorrow, June 9th, so be sure to swing back here for all the details.
