No, this sketchy Weibo photo does not confirm the next Note device will be named Galaxy Note 7
Be wary of the internet, for there are dark and dangerous rumors swirling about. The latest is out of Chinese social networking site Weibo that shows a photo “teasing” the Samsung Galaxy Note “7.”
Rumors say Samsung will indeed skip the Galaxy Note 6 and go straight to Galaxy Note 7. And as believable as those rumors are, this photo — which pretty much screams “default Photoshop effects” — does not confirm anything at all.
Thankfully for us, we may not have long to wait as Samsung is said to be pushing their launch schedule ahead by a month or two this year, with an announcement rumored to happen as soon as August.
