Everyone wants to get a taste of Android N, from the wallpapers to the new notifications and the multi-window view. Unfortunately, once the new software is out of its beta stage, not everyone will be able to experience how great it is.
Luckily, if you’re rooted, then there is an option to bring some of the greatest features from Android N to your device running Lollipop or Marshmallow. This is done through an Xposed module named Android N-ify.
A developer released the first version back in March, but has just pushed a major update with bug fixes and new features.
Changelog:
- New notification design
- New status bar header design
- New Recents design
- More double-tap fixes
- Use recents button to:
- Return to last app
- Return to current app
- Navigate through recents
- Option to restart SystemUI
- App theme switch
- About screen in app
- Option force English app language
- Dutch, Farsi, French, Korean, Polish, Russian, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese translation
As you can expect, Android N-ify changes the appearance of your device with the most popular features of Android N. Of course, there are some bugs that come along with something this awesome, but they aren’t extremely noticeable.
The developer is extremely receptive to comments and questions, you’ll just need to head over to the XDA thread and check out what’s going on with Android N-ify.
