Last year, Samsung and Apple tied for being the most reliable manufacturers among US consumers. This year, things are changed up just a bit with Apple at #1 but Android OEM’s taking the remaining 4 positions in the top 5.

As for America’s favorite smartphone? Turns out that belongs to the Galaxy Note 5 with a rating of 86/100 barely edging out Apple’s iPhone 6s Plus.

- Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ – 84
- Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – 84

With the top 7 positions being held by either Samsung or Apple, Motorola comes in ranked at #8. However, the rest of the list is absolutely dominated by Samsung and Apple, with the HTC Desire 626 coming in closer to the bottom of the list.
It’s not surprising that Apple and Samsung are at the top, let alone that the two OEM’s have a stranglehold on the top devices in America in terms of customer satisfaction. What is surprising is the satisfaction of Americans with Android devices despite all the issues surrounding security and untimely software updates.
