Those eagerly awaiting the official unveiling of the OnePlus 3 will be pleased to hear that the phone unveiling may only be three weeks out. In a chat conversation with an excited OnePlus fan, one of the company’s customer service representatives mistakenly revealed that the “OnePlus 3 will be fully revealed on June 14th.”
According to the rumors, the OnePlus 3 will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 64GB of storage, 4GB of RAM, 16MP main camera and NFC support. Leaked images of the phone show that the phone will feature an aluminum unibody which barrows design inspiration from HTC’s flagship devices. While the specs of the OnePlus 3 are quite common these days, the company will likely set itself apart from the competition by selling it at or near cost. This means that the OnePlus 3 should sell for less than $400 when it finally goes on sale.
We doubt that the OnePlus 3 will be any better than the Samsung Galaxy S7, HTC 10 or LG G5, but it should be more an incredible buy for anyone looking for a flagship-tier device at an affordable price point.
