A few days ago, Xiaomi teased that it would be unveiling its first drone later this week, on May 25th. The original image showed a camera attached to some sort of base, but not much else was revealed about what was in the works. Earlier today, the first teaser video for the drone was released and gave us a little bit better idea as to what the drone will look like.
In the 20-second teaser, we are shown a glimpse at the propeller blades, and then the shot moves down to show off four balancing legs with the camera mounted in the center. According to rumors, this camera should be able to shoot in 4K video quality, providing an excellence experience for those looking to create memorable videos that are only possible with the help of a drone.
Xiaomi will be unveiling this drone later this week, but we aren’t sure about pricing, availability, or even if we’ll be able to get our hands on it state-side. One thing to keep in mind is that Xiaomi is really good about creating high-quality products at low prices, so maybe this thing won’t cost an arm and a leg. Keep your eyes peeled for more information about this drone, as it becomes available.
