By Samsung’s Gear Fit 2 has been rumored to be in the works for quite some time now. We hadn’t imagined any changes that would permanently disfigure Samsung’s ideal design of a fitness watch, and with all the leaks showing off its design it seems our imagination was about as accurate as can be.
In today’s episode, the device’s 1.84-inch curved AMOLED display can be seen quite clearly here. It’s surrounded by a nice sporty material that should make it appropriate for nearly any workout.
What’s new is the stuff on the inside — Samsung’s bio-processor, which has a wide range of fitness-focused sensors. The device should have its own dedicated GPS for tracking things like distance traveled and your running route, as well as a heart rate sensor for seeing how the old ticker is doing at any given time.
When is it coming? Rumor has it we’ll see it this June, and with promo-style images being leaked (and Samsung showing the thing on their own website) we’d say that doesn’t sound too inaccurate.
