Google is shuffling around and changing its pace on a few things before next week’s developer conference. The latest move involves the mind behind selling Google for Work to various businesses. Amit Singh moves from leading sales of Google for Work to being in charge of business and operations at Google’s Virtual Reality division.
The move comes as no surprise due to the great work that Singh had been doing at his previous role and if Google wants to market VR well, this is the man for the job.
Thrilled to be joining Google VR team to lead biz and ops. Incredibly proud of @googleforwork and where they are headed

This news is just another piece of information in a long line of rumors and confirmations that Google/Alphabet will be shifting quite a bit of focus onto Virtual Reality in the coming days. We’ll see how everything shakes out with Google I/O officially kicking off next week. Keep your eyes peeled and your head on a swivel.
