Although Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Xiaomi Mi Max tomorrow, Huawei is joining in on the new phone train tomorrow with the Huawei Honor V8. The device has seen a few leaks here and there, but new images have surfaced giving us a clear look at the rear of the device with its dual-camera set up.
As you can see from the image, it will not only have a dual camera set up, but will also feature its trademark fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. As for what else we know about the Honor V8, it should feature a Kirin 950 processor and 4GB of RAM, but this won’t be the successor to the recently released Huawei P9.
This device will more than likely fit in the lower to mid-range device lineup for Huawei, but something else of note that was leaked is in regards to the camera for the Honor V8.
The camera may include a way to shoot dynamic 360-degree images, allowing for you to take a 360-degree picture while the subject is moving. While not unprecedented, it’ll be a neat trick to see this feature included in the Honor V8. You can see it in action above.
As for the rest of the specs, we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow when Huawei unveils it to the world. We’ll keep you posted.
