Folks with a lisp recited the iconic Star Wars phrase “May the Force Be With You,” and May 4th turned into the perfect holiday, of sorts, to celebrate the legendary franchise. If you’re one who gets festive about the Empire this time of year then you’re likely looking for stuff to do, buy and check out.
Starting at Google Play, the company is taking $15 off a collection that consists of the first 6 Star Wars films. This brings the collection down to $84.99 from its original price tag of $119.99. There are also a few games on sale, with Lego Star Wars on tap for $1, Lego Pinball available for $.10, and epic RPG Knights of the Old Republic down to $2.99. There’s also a vast array of Star Wars comic books on sale. You can check out all the stuff Google Play has on tap right here.
Need something a bit more tangible? The Sphero BB-8 rolling robot that was used in the making of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (you can rent that right here) is now on sale for $27 off, bringing its price down to $124. This thing will boop and beep with authentic sounds, and can even react to significant parts of the new Star Wars film. It’s like having a cuddle buddy, only less weird.
Oh, and remember those Star Wars-themed portable battery packs we told you guys about at CES? Those are on a steep discount down from their original $30 price tags. You can now snag them for anywhere between $10 and $12.
Finally, if you’re just looking for something rather cool to check out then head to this link in the Chrome browser on your Android phone. Congratulations: you are now the proud owner of a light saber, and you’ll have to use it to escape the First Order. May the 4th be with you!
