Lil Wayne pouring champagne on his smartphone is funny and all, but it seems Samsung is taking a bit of a turn in their marketing campaign for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The company has posted up 3 new TV commercials on their YouTube channel. The videos show how the Samsung Galaxy S7’s best features can play a role in your life.
One video shows how you won’t have to worry when your phone falls into a sink full of water while your date is calling. Another suggests telling your mooching friends who always conveniently forget to bring their cash about Samsung Pay. Finally, the last video shows how you can use the camera’s superior low-light capabilities to soothe a young daughter who’s afraid of the dark.
Of course, many of us will just use the smartphone for more practical uses, such as taking actual photos with the camera and using Samsung Pay ourselves. But it’s nice to know that the phone can help out in a variety of situations no matter how whacky they may be.
