Sony’s been in the news lately due to the rumors surrounding a 6-inch powerhouse device, and a Sony Xperia X Premium handset that was supposedly going to be powered by an HDR display. The Sony Xperia X Premium was debunked by Sony Taiwan, but that 6-inch device has us still wondering what’s in the works.
Now, there seems to be two new devices that Sony is working on that hit GFXBench giving us the nitty gritty on the devices. The first device, the Sony F3216, is the first that hit the benchmarks and features an impressive set of specs:
- 4.6-inch 1080p display
- MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 chipset with 1.9Ghz octa-core ARM Cortex processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- 21MP rear camera
- 16MP front camera
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow
The second device is named the Sony F3311 and has slight lower specs than the F3216.
- 4.6-inch 720p display
- MediaTek MT6735 chipset with 1.3Ghz quad-core ARM Cortex processor
- 1.5GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- 13MP rear camera
- 5MP front camera
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow
Both devices will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, while the F3216 will bring an impressive set of cameras to the mix.
Naturally, Sony has yet to make mention of any new devices in the works, but with these two hitting GFXBench, we could expect to see some new phones this summer.
