Google Photos update brings more fine-tuned control over folders and created movies

Google has just started pushing v1.19 of Google Photos which brings a few new features into the mix. The latest version will give users an easier way to search through all of their photos and videos without having to scroll for days to find the perfect shot.

Also within this update is a way to customize those movies that Google is nice enough to create automatically when uploading images to Photos. You will now be able to add your own music, photos, and videos to those movies to create the perfect movie to share with the family.

Finally, Google is adding in functionality that will allow users to easily rename or delete folders that you’ve copied over using an SD card or from internal storage. This will allow for better organization of your photos and videos, and give you more control over what is placed where.

The update for Google Photos is starting to rollout today, so be sure to keep an eye out for it in the Google Play Store.
