LeEco sells 1 million of its Le2, Le2 Pro and Le Max2 phones in 2-hour flash sale
Quite a few people were impressed with the LeEco Le2, Le2 Pro and Le Max2 which were introduced last week, but we doubt anyone could have predicted how popular the new phones would be. LeEco has announced that it sold 1 million units of its three new phones in just two hours, with the top-tier Le Max2 selling out in a mere 57 seconds.
The high demand for LeEco’s new phones stems from their high-end specifications and bargain-basement prices. The LeEco Le Max2 sells for ¥2099 ($325) and comes equipped with a 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB of DDR4 RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 21MP camera with OIS and a 3,100mAh battery. There’s also an upgraded version which comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for ¥2499 ($385).
The Le 2 includes a 10-core Helio X20 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB of storage, 16MP and 8MP cameras, a 5.5-inch full HD display, 3GB of RAM and 3,000mAh battery for roughly $200, while the Le2 Pro has a faster Helio X25 SoC, 21MP rear camera, 4GB of RAM and a retail price of around $230.
