Lenovo held an event in China today to talk about the launch of their ZUK Z2 Pro, a high-end smartphone with a Snapdragon 820 chipset and up to 6GB of RAM for $450. As nice as that device sounds — with other specs including a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 13MP/8MP camera, up to 128GB of storage and a 3,100mAh battery — something else the company revealed caught our attention.
That revelation? Well, it wasn’t another device, but word that a device is upcoming, and that it’ll be from Motorola. The launch of this unnamed product was pegged for June 9th.
While we obviously don’t get any official confirmation what’s in store, we’d say it’s safe to bet on the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus making their debuts. The latter model is poised to be the first Moto G phone to use a fingerprint sensor.
Anything else? The new Moto X would be a nice surprise, but we aren’t quite as confident in seeing that show up. Anything can happen, though, so we’ll keep all possibilities open. Onward to June 9th!
