Google IO 2016

We’re less than one month away from Google I/O 2016. The official schedule has finally been released for us to feast our eyes on. It all starts on May 18th with the 2-hour opening keynote. This is where most of the goodies you care about will be announced. The full schedule can be found here, but we’ll highlight some of the more interesting sessions below.

  • 6 Degree of Freedom Gaming in Android with Project Tango
  • What’s new in Android
  • Games: The Google advantage
  • Introducing Project Tango Area Learning
  • Android Auto for everyone
  • What’s New with Project Tango
  • VR & Cinema
  • Google Play Awards
  • Bring your Android app to Android TV in minutes
  • How AMP achieves its speed
  • Google’s Vision for VR

VR and Project Tango seem to be big focuses this year. Google also notes that many more sessions will be added after the initial keynote. Why after? Because secrets. Another sessions to keep an eye out for is the Android Fireside Chat at the end of day two. It’s looking like #IO16 will be full of great stuff for everyone.
