Last week, it was reported that customers were experiencing delays with Motorola’s warranty exchange program. People were stuck waiting months for their devices to be returned instead of the days they were promised. Obviously, this is not a good situation. You can’t leave people without their phone or smartwatch for that long.
Today, Motorola finally confirmed that this is a problem. They released a statement saying they are experiencing delays at their US repair center.
We know how important it is for you to get your phone back as quickly as possible so we’re working hard to identify and implement solutions. We are dedicated to the highest quality service and this is not up to our standard of excellence. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this situation has caused.
If you are currently having an issue with warranty fulfillment, please contact us at 888-355-8422. We are available Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, or on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time.
This is a pretty big problem, so we hope Motorola figures it out soon. Customer relations can be more important than the actual devices. There’s a much greater chance to alienate a customer with a bad personal experience rather than a poor product. Has anyone had this problem with Motorola?
