After a Moto G4 prototype hit YouTube earlier with nary a fingerprint scanner in sight many people started crying foul on earlier Moto G4 leaks and calling them elaborate photoshops. Well, this render produced by one of the most reliable leaksters in the game should make a believer out of you:

So, what’s with all this confusion? There are supposedly 2 Moto G devices coming:

• Moto G4: No fingerprint scanner
• Moto G4 Plus: Fingerprint scanner

Mystery solved. You’re probably going to be seeing a lot of leaks with 2 different phones, but that doesn’t mean everyone is photoshopping a square button into some of these shots. We still don’t know much about other major differences between the two models, but here’s hoping there isn’t a big enough power difference to make the lesser model less attractive to buy.
