Sony is sending emails to folks who signed up to learn more about the Sony Xperia X series. The devices will soon be up for pre-sale, though the company didn’t have many exact details to share.
They also mentioned that there’ll be a nice offer for pre-ordering the Xperia X, Xperia XA or Xperia Ear headset, though they didn’t detail what that bonus would be. What’s up with the lack of details, Sony?!
Anyway, it’s nice to hear that the devices are close to launch. We were taken aback by the announcement of this line at Mobile World Congress when it was revealed that they would fully replace the Xperia Z line. That was especially true after learning the Xperia X was the baseline device and it didn’t have nearly the same level of specs as other flagships launching this year.
But the Xperia X Performance is poised to be Sony’s high-end king this year. Unfortunately details on that device’s availability are still slim, so if you were looking to make it part of your tech arsenal you’ll have to wait for further details. Anyway, Sony also released a little teaser for the Xperia X and its camera, so be sure to watch it below if you want to get yourself hyped for its arrival.
