By One of our favorite cases in the last couple of years has been the Obliq Slim Meta. It appeared in our Best Cases list for the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and now the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. We were able to get one in our hands and show it off in the video above.
The Slim Meta is a great way to add the look of aluminum to your Galaxy S7. The back is a two-tone design with a faux brushed aluminum and a smooth faux aluminum. We have the gold model, but it also comes in rose gold, silver, and black. Although the case is not real aluminum, it does feel like it in your hand. This is great if you don’t like the almost plastic-y feel of Samsung’s glass.
On the inside of the Slim Meta is a softer TPU plastic. You can actually remove the hard outer shell and just use the soft TPU inside. It looks a little weird if you do that. The combination of soft and hard plastic provides great shock absorption. It’s not an overly bulky case, but it does feel substantial in your hand. We really like the look and feel of this case, and we think you will too.
