InFocus is a US-based smartphone company that is looking to strike it big with one of the most affordable Android devices around. It’s not big on specs, but then again neither is the price. For just $65, consumers in India can get the Bingo 10, a quad-core smartphone running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Think something closer to the Moto E but at almost half the price and you’ll have an idea of what to expect. Here’s the full spec sheet:
InFocus Bingo 10 specs
- 4.5-inch 480 x 854 resolution display
- 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580M
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB storage
- 5MP rear / 5MP front facing cameras
- micro SD card slot
- 2,000mAh battery
- Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow
- 2 colors: blue/black, white/green
The Bingo 10 is one of a few ultra-affordable Android handsets launching in India. Not too long ago, a company called Ringing Bells launched both the Smart 101 4G (a $43 smartphone) and the Freedom 251 ($4). In India, there’s a huge smartphone market and I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more ultra affordable devices popping up to take on Samsung, Micromax, and Intex.
