The next phone from the infamous phone maker, OnePlus, is coming this summer. The device did not make an appearance at MWC, as some were hoping, but OnePlus did announce some launch news. Founder Carl Pei stated that the OnePlus 3 will be available in Q2 of this year. That puts the launch window from April through June.
Pei declined to reveal any details about the device. The one thing he did say about the phone is that it will feature a “new design.” Expect something different from what we saw on the OnePlus 2. Another bit of good news is about OnePlus’ controversial marketing. Pei said they plan to include more “traditional marketing.” Hopefully, OnePlus will try to underpromise and over-deliver this time. In the past, they haven’t been able to match the marketing hype with their products.
Now that OnePlus has released a few devices, how do you feel about the company? Would you be willing to buy the OnePlus 3?
