Shortly after LG unveiled the LG G5 (and its many friends), carriers rushed to make their availability plans known. Most of the biggies (T-Mobile excluded) have confirmed they’ll be carrying the device so far, with some even revealing the launch window they’re expecting. Here’s a quick list of what they’re saying:
AT&T
AT&T will offer the LG G5. Details about pricing and availability will be shared soon, but customers can visit www.att.com/g5 to be notified when more info is shared.
Verizon
The LG G5 will come in silver and titanium. The LG G5 and select LG companion device modules and accessories will be available this spring.
Sprint
Sprint will offer the LG G5 on its recently expanded LTE Plus Network, delivering faster download speeds than AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. Device pricing and availability date will be announced soon.
US Cellular
To follow up on LG’s announcement today at Mobile World Congress, U.S. Cellular is looking forward to bringing the LG G5 to our customers so they can have the latest innovative device from LG on our high-quality, national network. The LG G5 is a sleek, metal body smartphone that features a slide out removable battery and modular design, which allows for a greater smartphone experience. We will share details and timing in the coming weeks.
We’re still a bit confused as to why T-Mobile hasn’t chimed in yet. Perhaps they don’t work on Sundays? Who knows? We do expect the carrier to offer the device at some point, though, and we’ll share details when we get them.
