Samsung Galaxy Note 5 starts getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

It wasn’t long ago Samsung officially began the global Marshmallow rollout for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, and now the Galaxy Note 5 is about to follow a similar pattern. A rollout has reportedly started in Cambodia. It’s not surprising that Poland or another small European country wasn’t first in line considering Samsung never initially offered the Galaxy Note 5 in the region.

If the timeline of Samsung’s smaller flagships was anything to go by, the Note 5 should eventually see a wider testing phase in South Korea before they eventually approve the upgrade for the masses. AT&T Note 5 users have already gotten in on a beta so we know there pretty far along.

Those with unlocked international variants are likely to see if first, so if that’s you and you’re in the appropriate region you can check for it by heading to Settings > About device > Software update. Let’s hope Samsung doesn’t take long to get it out to everyone.
