Amazon’s first Super Bowl ad features Alec Baldwin and a snack stadium

0

Super Bowl 50 is right around the corner. The teams are set, the jerseys have been chosen, and the endzones have been painted. We’re only missing one thing: commercials. Super Bowl ads have become arguably the most popular thing about the Super Bowl. Even if you don’t like football, you’re watching for some funny ads. Tech companies have been getting in on the action lately. This year, Amazon is joining the game.

Amazon has already shared their first Super Bowl ad. It stars Alec Baldwin and Dan Marino (former QB of the Miami Dolphins) with the Amazon Echo. They are trying to plan a Super Bowl party when Marino suggests cheerleaders and a “snack stadium.” Baldwin, not knowing what a snack stadium is, decides to ask Alexa instead of the human being sitting 5 feet away who suggested the idea. Alexa provides the correct information, and the party is well on its way.

What do you think of this ad? Yay or nay?
