Under Armour Healthbox: $400 trifecta of HTC connected fitness products available now, ships January 22nd
We’ve been waiting almost a year for the Under Armour and HTC fitness partnership to hit the ground running. Well, it’s finally here, and it has arrived in full force. Under Armour and HTC today announced the Under Armour Healthbox which consists of three products:
- UA Band – Fitbit-like activity tracker
- UA Heart Rate – Chest strap to track excercise and calories burned
- UA Scale – circular Wi-Fi enabled scale to track weight and body fat %
Pre-orders start today for $400 and you’ll save $40 for buying them as the Healthbox package of products rather than buying each separately (UA Band is $180, UA Heart Rate is $80, and UA Scale is $180).
All of these devices, of course, will work with the Under Armour Record app for Android that you can find on the Google Play Store.
The UA Band is designed to be worn every day and the UA Scale is something that can be easily and comfortably used every day, but the UA Heart Rate seems like a product made more for the intense trainer. I can see a lot of people only wanting 2 out of the 3, but if that’s you’re line of thinking, you’re already at $360 and you essentially get 50% off the UA Heart Rate by purchasing the box.
