Huawei’s smartwatch is one of the better looking Android Wear devices to be released last year, but there’s no denying that it was mostly designed with men in mind. Today at CES, Huawei unveiled what it called the first smartwatch for women, but perhaps they didn’t realize Motorola was first to the table on that.
The Huawei Watch Elegant and the Huawei Watch Jewel will retail for $499 and $599 respectively, with subtle differences between the two designs. The Elegant features a knurled pattern that’s etched into the rose-gold plated body of the watch, while the Jewel features 68 1.5mm Swarovski crystals around the display. Both watches have a 1.4-inch, 400×400 display. There are 10 exclusive feminine watch faces to match the designs of both the Elegant and the Jewel.
The watches will feature a speaker for on-wrist voice calling so you can get your Dick Tracy-style communication on. Launch dates for these new watches will vary according to market, but you’ll be able to pick them up sometime this year.
