A supposed OnePlus device has appeared at GFXBench, and its collection of specs sound unlike anything we’ve heard of from the Chinese company. The device clocks in at 4.6 inches, making it significantly smaller than its older siblings and even smaller than Apple’s baseline iPhone model.
Is this the OnePlus Mini we’ve been hearing about for so long? Perhaps. Its specs look quite nice for a device donning the “mini” tag (most mini devices are inherently weaker than their normal-sized counterparts). Here’s what the benchmark shows:
- 4.6 inch 1080p display
- 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage
- 12MP rear camera, 5MP front camera
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset
- Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
That’d be one nice Mini device if these specs are accurate, with only Sony taking care to deliver a small, yet powerful handset in the sea of Android’s top manufacturers. The device could impress the pants off us if priced right, and as long as OnePlus doesn’t make any outrageous claims regarding its true nature (like suggesting it’s a 2016 flagship killer when it doesn’t even have NFC) it could be one of the hottest items to look out for whenever it launches.
