The gold Nexus 6P could launch in the US soon

According to them, Google is planning to launch the variant in the United States sometime soon. It would also line up with a launch of the device at Best Buy, where the Nexus 5X is the exclusive device in that lineup being offered right now.
It would make sense for Google to increase retail availability for the Nexus 6P right now as they’ve gone full steam ahead with a primetime holiday marketing campaign for both devices. Those who really want a Nexus 6P know where to get one and likely already have one, but increased visibility at the largest brick and mortar electronics retailer in America is sure to rope in a good chunk of the uninformed public. Having that gold option available could also be the trick in making it a desirable purchase for those who place great importance in color options.
