Motorola begins Marshmallow soak test for Moto X Pure Edition

A few days ago, the Motorola Feedback Network sent out emails to Moto X Pure Edition owners asking them to participate in an upcoming soak test. We had a hunch this was going to be the Marshmallow update and turns out — we were right.

We’ve received reports today that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow is, in fact, the subject of Motorola’s latest soak test for the Moto X PE, hitting devices as software version 24.11.18.en.US and providing no major bugs are found, we could see the update rolling out in the next few weeks. We’ll be on the lookout.
