Nexus 5X And Nexus 6P get CyanogenMod 13 nightlies

Nexus devices were suspiciously missing from yesterday’s list of phones getting CyanogenMod 13 nightlies, but the team made quick work out of getting a build up and running for the latest of that ilk. The Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P now have nightlies available for download at CyanogenMod’s download portal.

CyanogenMod 13 is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it represents the latest and greatest work from the community development team. If you aren’t aware what a nightly is, it’s a snapshot of the previous night’s work on the ROM. All the latest code changes and code commits are in that nightly, and you can flash it to get a taste of things to come.

What it isn’t is stable — when you use a nightly you accept that there may be bugs or things that don’t fully work as it’s not intended to be finished. You can flash them if you want regardless — and it may even surprise you that nightlies don’t often present many issues — but just know that there’s some risk that goes along with it (as there is with any custom ROM flashing, even stable releases). Knowing that, if you want to check out the latest version of CyanogenMod in the making for the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X then be sure to use the links below.
