$50 off NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV and free $50 remote for Black Friday, select games 50% off on Google Play

We know this Black Friday there’s plenty of options to choose from if you in the market for a new smartphone. But if you’re already good in that department, perhaps something for the living room will tickle your fancy.

Chiming in with a Black Friday deal of their own is NVIDIA who will be taking $50 off the SHIELD Android TV when purchased either directly through them, or in-store at Best Buy, Fry’s, GameStop, or Micro Center (Thursday, 11/26 12:01am PST to Saturday 11/28 11:59pm PST).

For a little added value, NVIDIA is even kicking in a free SHIELD Remote — a $49.99 value — for absolutely free. The remote lets you speak voice commands and even plug in headphones if you’re looking to watch something without disturbing someone else in the room.

Whether you already have, or plan on also picking up a 4K television this holiday, the NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV will make the perfect companion as its one of the few devices capable of streaming 4K content from providers like Netflix.
