It’s been a good 2 months since AT&T rolled out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge on their network. Among a bevy of small tweaks and bug fixes, the update brought both Android Pay and Samsung Pay mobile payments services to the devices.

Unfortunately, left out of the fun was the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. With its cold, rugged, hard exterior, we had a feeling the phone would take a backseat to Samsung’s more universally popular flagships. But it seems Galaxy S6 Active users on AT&T wont have to wait too much longer to enjoy the fruits of 5.1.1.

Samsung just posted the update on their support page, arriving as build number G890AUCU3BOJE. Although they were light on details of the update, they did reveal that Samsung Pay is definitely on board. And… that was about it.

Samsung wasn’t able to confirm release timing for the update, but if they’re already posting it to their support page, an actual OTA rollout can’t be too far behind. Check out the very small changelog via the source link below.
