We’re still awaiting solid details on the Samsung Galaxy S7 (and the reported Edge variant it may launch with), but info on accessories for the devices is already starting to leak. SamMobile has received details about 4 different cases which will be offered up for both of the devices.
According to them, the devices will get a Glitter Cover, an S View Cover, a Clear Cover and a Keyboard Cover. These are the standard set of cases we typically see launch with each major Samsung flagship. The Glitter Cover is a bit of an eye hurt for some, but its shimmery style could delight many-a-people.
The S-View Cover is a folio-style case that has a window on the front flap to get information about incoming calls, messages, weather, time and more. The clear cover is a transparent cover — self-explanatory stuff there.
Then there’s the infamous keyboard cover, which we saw launch for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. It’s interesting that Samsung has decided to go with a keyboard cover. The thinking with the S6 Edge Plus’s cover is that the bigger display are will make a hardware keyboard attachment comfortable to use. We’re not sure if that will translate to the smaller display of the regular Galaxy S devices, but we’re sure Samsung will give it their best shot. In the meantime, we’re more worried about getting information on the device itself, which hopefully won’t be long as Samsung is said to be introducing them very early in 2016.
