OnePlus is coming out with a brand new upgrade for the OnePlus 2. It’s OxygenOS 2.1.2, and much of the focus went to the camera experience. Specifically, there is an improved UI for previewing images and fixes for RAW format files with third-party apps. OnePlus specifically noted that FV-5 was incompatible, but they’ve worked with the developer to bring proper support for RAW for anyone who prefers to use that app for snapping images.
Beyond that, OnePlus is making it possible to customize individual app icons, performance improvements for app installs and launches, the addition of Russian and Turkish languages, support for individual lockscreen wallpaper, and general bug fixes, performance enhancements and security patches. The update is going out over-the-air, so stay on the lookout for it in the days to come.
