Xiaomi’s latest affordable product seems quite nice for those who find themselves needing a charge on the go. For $24, they’re offering up a 20,000mAh power bank. It’s sleek, slim, juicy and cheap. They got the capacity by combining 6 3350mAh Panasonic cells inside.
But those aren’t the only things it has going for itself — it also employs Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology, so you can get a mobile charge on your compatible Quick Charge phone just as fast as if you were tethered to a wall outlet. It’s quite neat. It also weighs 338g, which is nearly double the weight of a standard smartphone. Not bad for something that can deliver half a dozen full smartphone charges in one day. It takes just 5 hours to charge it from 0% to 100%, so one overnight wall-hugging session is all you’ll need to ensure you can go the next day (and perhaps days after that) without having to find an outlet.
Unfortunately those are all the details we’ll get about the thing right now. The device is expected to go on sale very soon, so keep it tuned to Xiaomi’s website if you’re interested.
