When the HTC One A9 was announced, we noted that it can be used on pretty much any carrier. It works the same way as the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition. Unlike the Moto X Pure, the One A9 is still available from carriers. Right now you can pre-order it from AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. In December, Verizon will also start carrying the device.
Right now the One A9 is available for $399, but soon it will jump up to $499. By the time Verizon get the phone it should be firmly locked in at the $499 price. It’s not a bad little phone for $399, but it’s a tougher sell for $100 more. There’s nothing stopping you from buying it unlocked from HTC right now. You get an iPhone-like design, 5-inch 1080p display, nice camera, and a fingerprint scanner.
Has anyone pre-ordered this phone yet? Do you care about it at all?
