Tipster @evleaks is no stranger to receiving early press renders and with the Motorola holding an event on Tuesday to announce this year’s latest Droids — more than likely the recently leaked Droid Turbo 2 and Maxx 2 — he’s dropping a few new photos of these devices before they’re made official. In the latest press renders, we get a clear look at the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 (the ones with the double speaker slit separated by the Verizon logo) the Motorola Droid Maxx 2 and the different colors and backs of each.

According to sources, the Turbo 2 will be the first Droid device to be customizable in Moto Maker, with Verizon dedicating some shelf space to showcase the various back cover materials like leather, nylon fiber, or plastics. The phones are shaping up to be some of the best of the year and although they look to be a Verizon US exclusive, we have a hunch GSM unlocked version could also be sold in other parts of the world.
