First thing’s first, if you want to pre-order the HTC One A9, you can do so right here. With that out of the way, we felt it important to clarify a couple of things about the device’s two models and how pricing will work.
There’s a 2GB RAM, 16GB base model, and a 3GB RAM, 32GB storage equivalent. Both models are identical otherwise. You’ll presumably be asked to pay more for the 3GB RAM model.
But for now, you’ll only get to buy the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage model. Its $399.99 price tag is only considered a pre-order promo price, or so says their fine print.
It’s likely that the base 2GB/16GB configuration will start at $399.99 once the promo price on the higher tier model expires. All of this is to say you should definitely pre-order the HTC One A9 if you’re planning to get the 32GB model, because it’s bound to jump up in price once HTC’s exhausted all the inventory they’ve reserved for this promotion. Be sure to take care of that before it’s too late.
