It sounds like Pichai selected some choice individuals who he has full trust in running some of the intricate day-to-day responsibilities and operations of Google. We’re especially happy he was quick to identify someone within the Android team who could be trusted enough to continue the ridiculous growth pattern that the unit experienced when he himself was still leading it. Fingers crossed that the new guys bring just as much to the table in their new roles as he did when he was blazing up the corporate ladder.
