All the cool stuff these days gets announced at developer conferences. Apple started the trend with WWDC. Google upped the ante with Google IO and their Oprah moments. Now it seems tech companies always unleash their wares for the delight of developers they aim to woo to their platform.
It seems logical then that Oculus Connect – the company’s developer event – would be the perfect venue for important updates and announcements such as the Oculus price and availability. And guess what’s happening on September 24th?
That’s right: an Oculus update presented by the CEO of Oculus himself. We already know that Oculus is coming in Q1 2016, and now we’re hoping to learn more details later this month.
It’s possible we’re reading too far into the event, agenda, and timing. The event could come and go without much more than code geeks sharing 1s and 0s. But speculation is part of tech’s many joys and now we’ve got September 24th firmly S-Pen scribbled into our Google Calendar on the Galaxy Note 5.
