It’s been a long time coming, but after a brief iOS period of exclusivity, Fallout Shelter is now officially available for Android. We knew the game was coming to Android since mid-June, but Bethesda wouldn’t commit to a specific date. It was only toward the end of July they announced the game would land in the Play Store today and right on schedule, here it is.
Fallout Shelter is almost like a SimCity type construction/management simulator and has garnered some pretty good reviews since its initial release on iOS. It’s not perfect by any means, but Bethesda has added all the new updates from iOS like Mr. Handy as a premium award to help collect resources, and new enemies (Deathclaw and Molerats).
Fallout Shelter looks to tide fans over until the big release of Fallout 4 across multiple platforms on November 10th. You can download Fallout Shelter via the link down below. Don’t worry, it’s free.
